February 4th 2016 - Sir Farming.

Sir Farming was not charming,
nor handsome,
nor brave.

He was a knight whom liked to fight,
not for good,
not to save.

He fought for the thrill of the flailing sword.
He would run in cannons blazing at the front of the hoard.
The people of the kingdom, too afraid to be his friend,
gave praise to Sir Farming, and his glorious winning trend.

Sir Farming was alarming,
and ruthless,
and mean.

He was a fool who loved to duel,
for the kingdom,
for the queen.

Sir Farming was feared by many abroad.
Except one fearless night they all just call Rod.

Rod was exceptional.
Rod was quite clean.
Rod fought with chivalry.
He was only thirteen.

Such a young and proud night, a master of fight.
He said he was the best, Sir Farming knew he was right.

A problem for Sir Farming, indeed, and quite grand.
A chance in battle, Sir Farming did not stand.

Sir Farming decided that Rod was too good.
To beat him in battle would take the whole neighbourhood.

Sir farming tried to form a plan.
There must be some way to beat this young man.

Just as sir farming was about to give in.
He devised a horrible plan of horrible sin.

Rod was too good,
To fight,
To beat.

Sir farming would hoodwink.
would scandal,
would cheat.

Sir Farming set to disarming,
His plan so alarming.
Sir farming would set to harming,
This new knight they found charming.

A knight fights with chivalry, no matter the fuss.
Sir farming grew evil, and left that all in the dust.

Sir Farming set a battle, to begin at sundown.
When sundown came, he was nowhere to be found.

He planned to attack, Rod from behind
Leaving poor Rod, helpless and blind.
Return victorious, at sunrise
The village would be, none the wise.

A hero of battle he would become.
Perhaps be rewarded a handsome sum.

His plan was awful, a sin of sins.
But Sir Farming forgot that good always wins.

Rod quickly saw that Sir farming was not there.
Rod thrust his sword backwards and missed Sir Farming by a hair.

Sir Farming so stunned at being caught so quick.
Stopped dead in his tracks and froze still as a brick.

Rod turned and thrust his blade high in the air.
He came down so hard it rumbled the queens chair.

Rod stared at Sir Farming dead in they eye.

Rod said I could kill you, but I'm the good guy.
